All Dogs Matter Valentine’s Day Walk

What are you and your doggy doing this Valentine’s day weekend? If you don’t have any plans this Sunday we would love it if you were to join us for a Valentine’s Day walk with all our other dog friends. Interested? Check out all the details below!

Who?
All Dogs Matter is a registered charity who were established in 2009. As described on their website, they are a small team of passionate animal lovers who work with several local London council authorities to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome the many abandoned dogs that come into their office every day. They also take in dogs from members of the public who can no longer look after them. They use a mix of foster homes and kennel space to house the dogs that are in their care. They do educational visits at schools and are always looking for foster carers, home checkers and drivers to help on a regular basis.

What?
Share the love this Valentine’s Day weekend and join All Dogs Matter and us (PoochPlay) for their 8th annual dog walk in Hampstead Heath. The best “Loved Up” looking dogs and owners win a prize! Which means owners should come out dressed in pink, red or anything covered in hearts and for your pooches maybe a pink or red bandana or bow tie. They are hoping to be joined by a few stalls on the day, plus they will have their All Dogs Matter Shop and Raffle, which may include two free PoochPlay dog activity trackers! There will also be goody bags to go around which will have some tasty treats for your adorable pooch.

Where?
As previously mentioned, the Valentine’s Day walk will be held at Hampstead Heath. Please meet outside The Garden Gate Pub in Hampstead. If you are taking the tube to the event, take the Northern Line to Belsize Park and turn right out of the station at the church and then make another right as the pub should be on the left at South End Green. If you are taking the bus, take the 46, C11, UL1, UL2 to South End Green bus stop. Turn right up South End Road and the pub will be on your right. Lastly, if you are coming by train, from Hampstead Heath overland, turn left out of the station. The pub will be right in front of you.
